Present in the market since 1949, Caimi Brevetti is today one of the principal design-oriented companies in the furnishing and office furnishing needs sector.
The philosophy which has always marked Caimi Brevetti can be summed up in the words research, experimentation, and innovation, based on a remarkable technical and technological experience matured during over sixty years of activity.
Caimi Brevetti’s products are easily recognized because they fully interpret the concept of industrial design, integrating form and function perfectly with series reproduction in mind and carrying as values the modularity, versatility, the flexibility and the wise use of materials, exalted by an essential and clever design.
To arrive at these goals, Caimi Brevetti uses its own trained planning, experimentation, and studio staff, supported by collaboration with external designers and architects.
The synergy which arises through the contact between professionalism and diverse project experiences contributes to the success of the company in various sectors: Caimi Brevetti in fact produces not only office furniture but also completes contracts for transit and waiting areas (hospitals, airports, stations, etc) commercial activities, libraries, home-offices, home furnishings and for fairs, displays and museums.
In this last sector, Caimi Brevetti has been particularly noted for the growing interest in the sponsorship and collaboration in the setting up of important cultural and social events.
The company has a lively and active relationship with important university and scholastic institutes, among them the Faculty of Design at the Polytechnic in Milan, the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Genoa, the Valle Giulia Faculty of Architecture at “La Sapienza” University in Rome, and the European Institutes of Design in Milan, Turin, and Madrid.
The results speak for themselves: apart from much positive recognition at an international level, including the Gold Compass and displays in important international museums, Caimi Brevetti’s products today furnish with elegance and functionality many major international banks and businesses, the waiting rooms of airports and passenger terminals, museums, libraries and trade fair/display establishments, both in Italy and over in 60 other countries on five continents.
In 2006 an exhibition entitled “Today is already tomorrow: The innovations of Caimi Brevetti” was dedicated to Caimi Brevetti by the Milan Triennial.
In June 2008 the company was awarded the prestigious Gold Compass for the bookcase Big, designed by Marc Sadler, who, with the same product, was nominated for "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2010".
The company collaborates for its projects with numerous designers, among them:
Technical office able to assist in planning, wide range of products on offer, rapid delivery time.
