The project represents a series of accurate interventions aimed at a better living comfort creation.
The works done inside of the residence follow the owner's requests and transform the space into a more functional and comfortable area for common use, with a vast living room and three rooms on a basement floor. Besides, the biggest part of the project works was designed to adapt the building to the newest executive and technological criteria aimed at high energy savings in everyday life.
The horizontal staves in a white-coloured larch are used as an insulating covering and, at the same time, provide a characteristic modern look to the residence, far from the stereotypes dominant in today's construction offer in Italy.
The large windows remind "Chicago" skylights, and the general style of the project has a slight touch of American architecture.
The volume of the building is composed along a steep slope with a spectacular view on the noble design of the Bologna hills. The volume seems to be pendant over a water mirror which through its reflections animates and makes almost evanescent a white architectural design of the building.
