The project involves the construction of the new Brembo SpA production site in Monterrey, Mexico.
The plant consists of two departments: the aluminum foundry and the machining workshops. In total, the intervention is developed on a plot of approximately 170,000 square meters.
The project is divided into successive development steps: in the first phase, the project involves the construction of a building of approximately 29,500 square meters of floor area, of which:
- 4,500 square meters of offices, dressing rooms and canteen
- 25,000 square meters of production building and utilities in addition to approximately 42,700 square meters of roads and yards.
The building is designed with steel structure with main spans of 34 m span, to allow maximum flexibility in the usage of the interior space, freeing the production layout from any constraints arising from the structure of the building.
The external walls have been designed in metal sandwich panels in the upper part and in concrete walls in the lower part.
Also the roof is designed in sandwich panels, with the presence of grids and catwalks to support the plants.
The office building is adjacent to the production building, but structurally separated, also is designed with a steel structure and exterior walls in prisms and metal panels.
